I commute about 50 miles round trip every day- and drive a Chevrolet Impala SS- I love the idea of the Volt and the gas savings- but how does it rate on safety and performance? Also, how soon can I buy it? I am looking to buy another car before the year is up, so I hope it will be at my dealer Henna Chevrolet asap! Also, are the seats comfortable for long trips?

Holy crap I love this app. I downloaded it for my iPhone and my DROID and it is the coolest thing to show off. I can't wait for my own Volt to show everyone how it works with the car.

I also commented on the news article here for this app. I personally believe this should be an option for all OnStar users (could be an extra fee even) for all OnStar cars. I would love to be able to track fuel consumption, start my car, etc etc remotely. The BlueTooth on my phone could even act as the security key, allowing me to have my phone in my pocket and unlock the doors/start the car and drive without inserting a key.

Either way, Kudos to GM for this!
