Texas Power Company to Offer Unlimited Charging Capabilties to Users

NRG Energy Inc. recently announced their plans to launch an electric vehicle recharging service early next year. For an average cost of $60 to $80 per month, users will have unlimited charging capabilities, whether at home or at public charging stations throughout the Houston area. This service is also said to be extended to the Dallas area by the middle of next year.

Chevrolet Volt Will Come with More than One Year of Free OnStar

When the Chevrolet Volt launches later this year, it will offer a connected ownership experience. By that, I mean the Volt will connect with drivers and keep drivers connected to their lives in ways never seen before in the auto industry. In addition to the OnStar mobile application -  where owners can remotely program vehicle charge times, track their EV miles (and miles per gallon in extended-range mode), check battery charge status, and more - touch screens and a 30 gigabyte internal hard drive, the Volt will also come with more than one year of free OnStar.
