After a busy weekend for the Chevy Spark EV team where we put the car through a tough hot weather test drive from Yuma, AZ, to Torrance, CA, we’re putting on our hiking boots to take the car on another journey. Tomorrow we’re going to see how the car performs at various grades as we travel from Torrance, CA, to Big Bear.
We’re inviting you to join in on the fun. Each of the Spark EV test vehicles will feature a QR code that you can use to get more information on this great new electric vehicle. We’re also going to be tweeting along the drive using the hashtag #SparkEV, so if you’re nearby you can stop and meet the team and get a closer look at the Spark EV.
No, the drive isn’t an excuse for us to take a dip in Big Bear Lake or hunt for Sasquatch, although that sounds like a great idea! We’re going to paying close attention to how the Spark EV performs at various grades for extended periods of time.
What we learn on this drive will help assure the Spark EV meets or exceeds our expectations before it goes on sale next year.
Again, watch #SparkEV on Twitter to see where we’ll be during our drive. We’ll see you at the lake!
