I haven't had to stop at a gas station since I bought my Volt. I am over 3000 miles and I still have half of the tank of gas that the dealer filled when I purchased the car.

Do a few dozen of these and run them every hour on every network! This is finally the right approach!!!
We've owned our Volt since December, and have yet to put a drop of gas in it, with over 1270 miles driven and Lifetime MPG of 266! It's the greatest thing since the iPhone...

Ok, now you're on the right track! Real owner stories. You know how many over-the-top satisfied owners you have out there, use your biggest asset! Put as many faces out there as you can. Show some flashes inside the car (awesome displays), talk about the actual mpg the overall Volt fleet is getting in the field. And COMPARE IT AGAINST THE REAL COMPETITION - Acura TSX, BMW 3, etc, etc.
Stick with this - the American people will figure it out. If you want any shots of me, the wife, and the two kids in car seats (like we are every weekend), let me know! When I tell people I've gone 1400 miles on my last 1.7 gallons of gas, they don't believe it. Just had a 15 minute conversation with the neighbors, and believe me people want to know about fuel-efficient cars right now. The stars are aligning, give it everything you've got!

THESE are the ads GM should air! I have told many, many people the Volt is the best car I ever owned. I have put in 3 gallons of gas since last July - nearly 8,000 miles. Less than $20/month for electricity. And it drives like a sports car with whiplash acceleration if you want it. No one can sell this car better than the owners who love it.

I love to tell people that I got the VOLT in October and I have filled it up with gas only four times since then. Whenever I go out of town, my son sneaks the keys and drives it to work. It sure is a conversation starter whether I am out and about or the VOLT is plugged in at home. Workmen, especially, are full of questions. I wish CT electric prices were lower, but never mind. This is my first American car, and I am proud. YAY VOLT!

Perfect! It's actually exactly how I feel about my lovely new Volt. I just picked it up two weeks ago and I couldn't be happier. My commute is about 35 miles a day round trip, but since most of it is in traffic I've been averaging about 43 miles of EV range before having to charge up again. I'm also an apartment dweller which probably puts me in the minority of Volt owners, but luckily I have my own garage to charge in, and with the car I have been finding that it takes just a little over 8 hours to be fully charged again, plenty of time to sleep and start again the next day. This car is perfect, it totally is a little space ship and all my friends can't help but talk about it. I love the Volt and I hope we can continue to see more spots like this, because it truly is a great car. I would also love to see some kind of youtube contest for the best Volt ad, that would be so much fun. This is my first solo car purchase, and first American car to own and I'm glad I chose the Volt!

My VOLT! What can I say. I can say lifetime 128 mpg and I have had the car 3.5 months. The IRS credited me $7500 in taxes and the Dept of Energy installed a $2600 charging station in my garage at no charge (pun intended). The local utility put my car on time of use charging so, I pay less than 5 cents per kilowatt hour and that ends up being less than $10 per month to drive my car. I have gotten as far as 60 miles on one charge (nearly two gallons of gas). So, I am spending less than 50 cents to drive up to 60 miles. Since 90% of my driving is short trips less than 30 miles from my home, I rarely put any gas in this car. I may add a gallon or two each month if I end up driving longer distances. But even after the gas is gone I average 38 to 42 miles per gallon on the gasoline. My driving habits have become safer now that I do not punch the gas nor slam on the breaks except when its necessary to avoid danger. The design of the care is masculine and sporty, yet it feels luxurious and high end.
Chevy did it right. I would love to be their spokes person. I am once again a believer in American Made cars.

I was just thinking last week that this is exactly the kind of ad that Chevy should be running.
For me, the way I explain the Volt to people is simple -- "Every day I drive it, the first gallon of gas I use comes out of the wall socket. And it costs me under a buck. I never buy gas unless I'm driving out of town -- ever! But the best part? The looks of raw, seething envy you get from Prius owners as you pass them."

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! It is about time you start having owners talk about the cars the way they want to talk about them! I think you should have a Youtube contest and run the top 3 on primetime TV!!!
Anyway! I love the commercial, thank you for doing it!
