Today, Chevrolet Volt owners should have received a communication from Mark Reuss regarding the closure of the NHTSA investigation. It has come to our attention that some owners may have received a letter with the wrong name in the address. While the content of the envelope is the same, in each we wanted to let you know that we are aware of the error. We truly apologize for this error and if you would like a replacement letter please advise your Volt Advisor and they will be happy to send you a corrected letter. Thanks.

I never got my letter. Is there somewhere that it is posted so that I can read it? I don't need a Fed-Ex, just a link.

The same thing happened to us; my wife noticed the wrong name and didn't accept the envelope; told me it was from GM after the truck was gone. Many people report the same experience at http://www.facebook.com/groups/chevyvoltowners/ (where you can see the text of Dan Akerson's open letter, "A Few Words About the Chevy Volt." ) I'm surprised not to find both the ad and the text of Reuss's letter here at chevroletvoltage.com....

My wife met the FedEx guy at our front gate and had told him there was no one by that name at our house. He was about to drive off when I asked "Who is it from?". When he said "GM" I told him I was expecting something from GM about my Volt. He reluctanly let me open it and when he saw it was about the Volt, left it with me. My car was in the driveway or I don't think he would have let me open it.
I say all this to say, some Volt owners may not get the letter at all, because either the FedEx person or the intended receipeint may reject it because of the name error.
There is no greater supporter of the Volt than yours truly. When I bought my Volt I had a realistic appreciation with new technology there may be issues. The battery deal didn't concern me and thought yoy guys handled superbly. But I hope you guys do better in the future on "the easy stuff", like getting names right on mailings.
