The 2011 Chevrolet Volt was recently voted as this year's “Collectible Vehicle of the Future” by Friends of the National Automotive History Collection. The Volt beat out 23 other vehicles as members voted the Volt number one.
Before casting their votes, members are asked which new vehicles will be turning heads during the Woodward Avenue Dream Cruise of 2036.
An awards ceremony and presentation was at the Detroit Public Library’s Skillman Branch where John Hughes, Chevrolet Volt Marketing Manager, accepted the award. Visit this link to view a clip of John accepting the award on behalf of the Volt team. Thanks to everyone for their continued support of the Chevrolet Volt.

I have gave this much thought and I have decided or at least I hope to do this and that is to by a new volt next year or the year after This is the car of tomorrow because someday we will run out of GAS but I am so afraid it will be to late to save the Earth from all the harm it will cause. The number one reason I have not yet bought a volt I refuse to power my car with electricity from the power grid I will get a volt when they are charged by solar panels in the yard also via Tesla coils that takes the electricity from the Air there is where the money is to be made in electric cars a car that runs on nothing but technology and a car that will go from New York to LA WITH OUT STOPPING TO GET GAS OR ELECTRICITY would make the volt the number one selling car in the world but bring the price down to around $25,000 and the number sold would make up for the cut in price!
