IS CHEVROLET OFFERING ANY INCENTIVES TO THEIR DEALERS TO INCORPORATE SOLAR INTO THEIR SHOPS/SHOWROOMS?

Yesterday morning, the day after Thanksgiving, my family turned on the coffee maker, scrambled some eggs, and mixed up muffin batter...when a pop on a nearby pole cut off the electricity.

The family jumped in the Prius that had carried the kids and grandkids over the hill and through the woods to gramma and grampa's house, and headed off to the local dinner.

But on Thanksgiving 20(?) will the family's new Chevy Volt be plugged in to recharge? Will the charge come from the solar panels mounted on the south facing roof of the 1783 Georgian house, or, CL&P natural gas or nuclear generated electricity? But when the morning dawns overcast and the transformer on the pole pops, the house current won't even flicker, because the Volt battery will take over, until the gas engine purrs to life, powering the house. Breakfast is served!

The next gen of consumer package deals from GM and their solar partners! We're ready when you are!

Our government should stop supporting things like casinos and stadiums and build these stations all over the US.

If you had one of those here in Louisiana, you could charge em all at once with all the sunshine we get! where can you see a Volt in person? other than my AMT model of it...... I would really like a paper brochure! I hope you succeed with this technology..... the railroads have been using a similar method of long distance power and they don't use near as much fuel as trucks do comparing load size. Good luck in the future and I can't wait to see what Michael Moore thinks now.... GM is kicking butt and that is great!!!!!! Especially since its built here......
