I robert an ex GM salary,have my own ideas after building autos for 37 years.I am close to assembly and put it on the road.Hopefully Simple.Could use some HELP FOR A Truer Test. From what is on the slate as for pricing, I don's see the average person (middle income) being able to afford the Volt unless more than the federal rebates brings down the price. No one is going to pay over 7 years for a vehicle and not many will be able to afford a high payment with all the inflation on the table for 2010 - 2014.
Better price would be $25,000 - 30,000 before the tax incentive and rebates.
I'm just saying, that is what the AVERAGE person can afford.
